Take heart - it is easy to trim a cat's toe nails. I know, I am a cat and my person
who is also a vet, trims mine once a week. I do not like this a lot -- but it is okay.
Have your vet show you, or a groomer, just a little pressurre on the claw to extend it, and
clip just the white part. Only have to do a toe or two the first times. Clip a nail each
day before feeding, that way the cat is looking for food.
Or try it on a sleepy cat. A regular people type clipper works just fine.
And, I appreciate retaining my claws so I can harass out labrador.
